Junior bridge camp in Sussex in July

Sussex CCBA will be holding another residential Junior Bridge Camp on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th July 2018. The event includes lessons, competitions, and other fun activities, and is open to all young players - from beginners to experts, and from 8 to 21 years old. It will take place at Ardingly College near Haywards Heath.

Fast Track your way to a Lottery grant

Somerset Contract Bridge Association have been successful in applying for a £10,000 grant from the National Lottery to run Fast Track Bridge courses in the county for those aged 24 - 65.

We were pleased to support Somerset CBA, and their Chairman, Tony Russ, in the application for the grant, and were delighted to learn that it was approved.

Cambridge A win London Cup for university teams

University teams this weekend competed for the London Cup, a one day Swiss teams competition organised by Imperial College Bridge Club, and supported by English Bridge Education and Development, Young Chelsea BC and Farnborough BC.

16 teams from seven universities took part. The Cambridge A team, of Ben Kompa, Ryan Chan, Kripa Panchagnula and Jonathan Clark (pictured left to right with ICBC Chair Louise Selway), claimed the trophy.
